nathan skenderian is a los angeles based actor, as well as a playwright, improvisor, and a sketch comedian. he has been performing for almost his entire life but found himself unable to shake his obsession with theatre after a production of The Laramie Project in late 2021. since then, he attended pepperdine university, where he was a theatre scholarship award recipient, and earned a bachelor of arts in theatre arts, with an emphasis in acting. he was also a member of the pepperdine improv troupe, as well as a co-producer of the student led pepperdine variety show, “go off show off,” where he originated and performed several one man shows, co-wrote and performed sketch comedy scenes, and presented a scene reading from an original play. over the years he has prepared himself for a life on the stage, training in both contemporary and classical works, including shakespeare and ancient greek tragedies. he has a passion for contemporary theatre focusing on social dilemmas or stories based on historical events, spawning from his freshman year involvement in a production of The Normal Heart. he is fascinated with theatre scholarship as well as dramaturgy which he uses in all performance preparation to guide character analysis’s and make textual connections.
